Jack White Leads AmEx Unstaged 2012 < Musical Perfomances

AmEx Unstaged, American Express and VEVO‘s free online concert series, returns in 2012 with an award winning performer-director duo.

American Express, in partnership with VEVO and YouTube, announced today that Grammy® award-winning artist Jack White, and Oscar® nominated actor and director Gary Oldman, have been selected to kick-off the third year in its popular livestream music series, “American Express Unstaged.” White’s performance, from iconic Webster Hall on Friday, April 27 at 9:00 PM ET / 6:00PM PT in New York City, will be directed by Oldman and livestreamed at http://www.youtube.com/JackWhiteVEVO and on mobile devices via VEVO and YouTube apps for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android. The global event will come just three days after Jack White’s debut album, BLUNDERBUSS (Third Man Records/Columbia), hits stores on April 24.
