NBC Turns to Community for Sweeps Ratings Boost < Broadcast

May sweeps, one of the periods broadcast networks use to set advertising rates is upon us, and NBC is providing original, companion web content to boost interest in its over-the-air (OTA) programming, starting tonight with Community.

On the first day of sweeps, Thursday, April 29, NBC.coms lineup continues the characters Abed & Starburns in original "Community" webisodes, titled "The Spanish Assignment.” In addition, "Parks and Recreation" reveals its “Turnbill Mansion Portrait Scramble,” and for "The Office," visitors can read an exclusive Q&A with Sabre’s “Print in All Colors” newest management trainee. In addition, there will be a new “Dear Tracy” for the Emmy Award-winning "30 Rock" as well as an exclusive interview with guest star Will Forte and updates to the “Jennas Side” site.
