Caprica, SyFy‘s new Battlestar Galactica Spin-off series, is available for free streaming from the cable network’s website. The pilot episode will be available in its entirety and sponsored by Sony Picture’s Legion.
Syfy will air a slightly different version of Caprica when the series premieres on the network Jan. 22. “We’ve reshot a few scenes, we’ve added additional elements and upgraded the special effects from the original pilot,” Howe said.

Interestingly enough, Legion opens in theaters the same day as the new Caprica pilot premieres. Sony and SyFy must figure they are not competing for the same audience. At least not on that Friday. Happy viewing.
