Can’t wait for the streaming “watch with friends” option coming soon from Epix and Verizon FIOS? Well if you are an “anyone with an Xbox, an Xbox Live Gold membership, and a Netflix membership” update your Xbox and you’ll be ready to go!
Bitstream: Xbox Netflix update lets you watch with friends: “The Xbox 360 update lets users who have Netflix form parties, and watch movies together. Instead of watching a video with those around you, you can sync it up with your friends across the country and enjoy the experience together in a virtual home theater.”
You will lose some of that 1080p resolution due to the avatar living room. No word yet on that being skinnable to give it your home theater’s cozy look and feel.
And if you are not one of those anyone’s, Hulu added some more episodes of LOST in scales better than expected 480p.
